Plain-language summary: AmarVote runs (1) online elections for organizations and (2) a free play-money prediction market. AmarPoints have no monetary value. We hash your phone number and never sell your data. By using AmarVote you agree to the rules below.

1. Who we are

"AmarVote" (we, us, our) is operated by cWork Microjob Limited — a private limited company registered with the Bangladesh Registrar of Joint Stock Companies (RJSC) under the Companies Act 1994, incorporated May 2018. The company was originally a consumer microtask platform (Grameenphone Accelerator Batch 5, BD Venture-backed). In 2026 the company relaunched as AmarVote, an online voting and prediction-market platform for users in Bangladesh.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older, or have parental consent, to create an account. You must use a Bangladeshi mobile phone number capable of receiving SMS for OTP verification.

3. Elections feature

  • Organizations may create elections and invite voters.
  • Voters cast OTP-verified votes; one vote per phone per election.
  • Phone numbers are SHA-256 hashed before storage; we cannot reverse-engineer who voted for whom.
  • Election results are owned by the organization that created the election.

4. AmarPoints (AP) — the prediction-market currency

AmarPoints have no monetary value. The following rules are absolute:

  • Not money. AP cannot be sold, traded, gifted, or redeemed for cash, goods, services, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or anything of value.
  • Not transferable. AP cannot be sent from one user to another. Any attempt to trade AP outside the platform — including offering AP for sale on social media, marketplaces, or messaging apps — is a Terms of Service violation that results in account termination and zero balance.
  • Earned only. AP is granted by the platform on signup (1,000 AP), daily login (50 AP), real-vote casting (100 AP), and prediction-market wins (variable). There is no purchase path.
  • Cap. Free-tier users hold at most 50,000 AP at any time.
  • Expiry. AP held by users inactive for 180 days is reset to zero.
  • Platform discretion. We may revoke AP balances obtained through abuse, automation, or violation of these terms.

Because AmarPoints have no monetary value and cannot move between users, prediction markets on AmarVote are not gambling under Bangladesh's Public Gambling Act 1867 or Section 294A of the Penal Code. They are a forecasting and entertainment product.

5. Predictions feature

  • You may use AmarPoints to predict YES or NO on outcomes of future events.
  • Markets are operated by an automated market maker (LMSR). Prices move with demand.
  • The organization that creates a market is responsible for resolving it according to the published resolution criteria. Resolution is final after a 24-hour dispute window.
  • Organizations are prohibited from predicting in markets they create (insider-trade rule).
  • We do not run markets on death, conflict, communal tensions, or active electoral outcomes.

6. Privacy & data protection

We comply with the Personal Data Protection Ordinance (PDPO) 2025.

  • What we collect: phone number (hashed for vote dedup, plain for OTP delivery), display name (auto-generated), prediction history, AP transactions.
  • What we never collect: contact lists, location, browsing history outside AmarVote, payment card data.
  • What we never sell: individual user data. We may publish aggregated, anonymized trend reports.
  • Your rights: access, correction, deletion, and data export. Email privacy@amarvote.io.
  • Storage: at least one copy of personal data is stored on Bangladesh-based infrastructure as required by PDPO.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Create multiple accounts using the same phone number or SIM swaps.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automation to place predictions, claim daily AP, or manipulate markets.
  • Attempt to sell, trade, or transfer AmarPoints outside the platform.
  • Coordinate market manipulation (wash trading, pump groups, vote brigades).
  • Use the platform for any illegal purpose under Bangladesh law.

8. Liability disclaimer

AmarVote is provided "as is." We make no warranty about market accuracy, payout timing, or service availability. We are not liable for any loss of AmarPoints (which have no monetary value), election dispute outcomes, or third-party data.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms with at least 14 days notice on the platform. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
